Agatha Christie’s Poirot has been in filming since 1989 with
an impressive cast, including top young (er?) Hollywood stars such as Michael Fassbender,
Emily Blunt or Jessica Chastain.
And of course David Suchet - as an annoying, prying and
self-confident Belgian detective is just brilliant. Also Hugh Fraser created Captain
Hastings as a solid character and not merely a narrator.
On a cold Sunday afternoon, there nothing better calming the autumn blues than a mug of hot tea and a puzzle to solve with Hercule. Still enjoyable, even if you know the unraveling of mystery by heart.
